Crisis Management Seminar (CMS)

October 9-11, 2008 (Wednesday - Friday) 


CCI's Crisis Management Seminar is the core of our training programs. This three day management-oriented course provides participants with the fundamental knowledge, skills and abilities to provide a competent security and crisis management program for teams, leadership groups and executives who have responsibility for security of personnel, assets and programs on the field.   

The training in this seminar consists of a combination of classroom presentations, case studies and practical exercises.  During the three day seminar, training will be provided in the following core areas:  

  • Evacuation Management

  • The Terrorism Threat

  • Contingency Planning

  • Policies

  • Leadership in Emergencies

  • Strategic Risk Forecasting (SRF)

  • Tactical Risk Assessment (TRA)

  • Crisis Management Teams

REGISTRATION:

 

$550 for the first student

$500 for each additional student from the same organization

 

Registration cost includes seminar fee and materials.

Reasonably priced housing is available at the JAARS Center.

Field Security Seminar (FSS)

Hosted by JAARS Center - Waxhaw, North Carolina, USA

April 14-16, 2008 (Monday - Wednesday)

October 13-15, 2008 (Monday - Wednesday)

This three-day course will provide training in advance security principles and tactics for individuals working in increasingly dangerous venues.  The training in this seminar consists mainly of 'real-life' exercises supplemented with classroom presentations and case studies.  There is no pre-requisite required for this course.

During this course, training will be provided in the following core areas:  

  • Hostage Survival

  • High-Risk Conflict Management

  • Surveillance Management

  • Operations in Conflict/War Zones

  • Landmines, UXO and IEDS

REGISTRATION:

 

$575 for the first student

$525 for each additional student from the same organization

 

Registration cost includes seminar fee, materials, 

and Survivor's dinner on closing evening.
